In December,1997,the studios of HOT Animation (a wholly owned subsidiary of HIT Entertainment Ltd.) were set up in Broadheath, Manchester, North West England. Initially acquiring 11,187 sq ft of space and converting it into Model Animation Studios and Workshops, the company progressed to 23,821 sq ft in February 2000, and then 30,661 sq ft in July, 2001, 37,177 sq ft in March 2002, and to date, 43,985 sq ft.  Headed up by Andi Copley, Managing Director and Executive Producer, HOT Animation specializes in Stop-frame Model Animation, and boasts 6 fully equipped animation studios, as well as an Art Department, Prop Workshops, Set Workshop, Costume Department, 4 Offline Edit Suites, Foley Suite and Recording Studio.
